10 people all interested in history met together early in 2012 and the Butterton History Group was formed. We decided on a ‘3 pronged attack’- Local, Church and Family History.

We now have a Constitution and will soon be applying for grants/Heritage Lottery funding. We also have a fantastic bank of resources and archive material. Some has been transcribed and photographed from material at Lichfield and Stafford Archives, some donated, some permanently loaned and some bought on ebay!
